چکیده

This paper presents a new selection method for Genetic Algorithms based upon the concepts of the Evolutionary Game Theory, enabling individuals to compete for available resources. Hence they have the possibility to alter their adaptability and as an effect, assume an influential role on the generation of offspring. The results of some simulations of this technique are presented and compared with other selection methods, like: Traditional Roulette, Tournament and Hawk-Dove Roulette (HDR).

Vehicle Routing Problem in Competitive Environment: Two-Person Nonzero Sum Game Approach

Vehicle routing problem is one of the most important issues in transportation. Among VRP problems, the competitive VRP is more important because there is a tough competition between distributors and retailers. In this study we introduced new method for VRP in competitive environment. In these methods Two-Person Nonzero Sum games are defined to choose equilibrium solution. Therefore, revenue giv...

Mathmatical and Machine Learning Simulations Supporting the User Interface Theory of Perception

This paper demonstrates by simulations, applied to the hawk dove game, evidence which favors the interface theory of perception. Multiple simulation built around the basic evolutionary hawk dove game, and asexual genetic/simulated annealing experiment upon the hawk dove game. The experiments and data are explained in the context of how the corroborate the interface theory of perception. Backgro...

Equilibrium selection with coupled populations in hawk-dove games: Theory and experiment in continuous time

Standard oneand two-population models for evolutionary games are the limit cases of a uniparametric family combining intraand intergroup interactions. Our setup interpolates between both extremes with a coupling parameter κ. For the example of the hawk-dove game, we analyze the replicator dynamics of the coupled model. We confirm the existence of a bifurcation in the dynamics of the system and ...

[Evolutionary stability analysis of asymmetric hawk-dove game considering the impact of common resource].

Explaining the evolution of cooperation remains one of the important problems in both biology and social science. Classical theories mainly based on an assumption that cooperative players are symmetrically interacted. However, almost all the well-studied systems showed that cooperative players are in fact asymmetrically interacted and that asymmetric interaction might greatly affect cooperation...
